Venue: Have you chosen a venue for the ceremony and reception?
Guest Count: How many guests are you planning to invite? Who is most important to you? Will you allow kids at your wedding? Will you allow your guests to have a +1?
Theme and Style: Do you have a specific theme or style in mind for the wedding?
Budget: What is your overall budget for the wedding? How will you track this and stick to it?
Date and Time: When is the wedding date and time?
Vendors: What vendors are most important to you to hire? Will you hire a Wedding Planner?
Wedding Rings: What type of ring do you want? Do you have insurance on your wedding rings? Who will keep them safe before the ceremony and ring exchange?
Gift Registry: Will you set up a gift registry or include a Venmo account to donate to?
Location: Where will the ceremony take place?
Officiant: Who will officiate the ceremony?
Music: What type of music will be played during the ceremony? Any specific songs?
Readings: Are there any specific readings or rituals you want included?
Ceremony Line-up: Where will you line up and how long will it take the bridal party to walk down the aisle? Do you want a coordinator to be in charge of this?
Venue: Is the reception at the same location as the ceremony or a different venue?
Food and Drinks: What type of food and beverages will be served? Buffet, plated or food truck?
Entertainment: Will there be a DJ, live band, or other entertainment?
Seating Arrangement: How will the seating be arranged? Any specific seating plans?
Set up: Who will set up and when?
Cake: Have you chosen a wedding cake? What style and flavor? Where will you set it up?
Toasts and Speeches: Who will give toasts and speeches and how long do you want them to be?
Ceremony set up: What type of decorations do you want for the ceremony location?
Reception set up: What type of decorations do you want for the reception area?
Centerpieces: What type of centerpieces do you want on the reception tables?
Extra decor: What other tables will you have set up and how will you want them decorated?
Sweetheart Table: Do you want to have a sweetheart table and how do you want it decorated?
Rentals or Decorator: Will you hire a decorator or rent decor and set it up yourself?
Set up: Where do you want to include flowers in your decorations?
Bridal bouquet: What type of bridal bouquet do you want? Do you want a floral headpiece?
Groom: Do you want your groom to have a boutonnière?
Bridal Party: Do you want your bridal party to have bouquets or boutonnières? What about family members?
Bride’s Dress: Have you chosen your dress? Any specific details? What is your budget for your dress? How do you want to feel in your dress?
Groom’s Attire: What will the groom and groomsmen wear?
Bridesmaids’ Dresses: What will the bridesmaids wear?
Accessories: Have you chosen accessories for the bridal party?
Alterations: Does any wedding attire need alterations before the wedding?
Editing/Style: What style of photos/video do you want? Warm and muted or bright and light? Do you want more posed or more candid photos/video?
Photographer/Videographer: Have you hired a photographer and/or videographer?
Shot List: Any specific shots or moments you want captured?
Photo Locations: Are there specific locations for pre-wedding or post-wedding photos?
Photo Times: Do you want most of your group photos to be before the ceremony or after the ceremony?
Wedding Website: Will you create a wedding website to share your love story, wedding registry and wedding details?
Gathering addresses: How will you gather mailing addresses?
Save-the-Dates and Invitations: Do you want your save-the-dates and invitations to match the style that your wedding will be? Have you sent out save-the-dates and invitations?
RSVP's: Will you ask for RSVP's and how will you collect them if people don't respond?
Programs and Menus: Do you need printed programs and menus?
Thank You Cards: Have you planned for thank you cards after the wedding?
Transportation for Guests: Have you arranged transportation for guests or do they need directions to the venue?
Bridal Party Transportation: What about transportation for the bridal party?
Locations: If you are changing locations between the Ceremony and Reception, how will guests get from one to the other?
Guest Accommodations: Have you arranged accommodations for out-of-town guests?
Getting Ready: Where will you and the bridal party get ready before the wedding? Will you need 2 separate getting ready spaces? (1 for the bride and bridesmaids and 1 for the groom and groomsmen)
Bridal Suite: Where will the bride and groom stay after the wedding?
Legal Requirements: Have you taken care of the marriage license and any other legal requirements?
Insurance: Do you have wedding insurance?
Emergency Kit: Have you prepared an emergency kit for the day of the wedding?
Wedding Day Timeline: Will you or your planner/coordinator create a wedding day timeline and how closely do you want it followed on your wedding day? Who will be in charge of keeping the timeline on track?
Honeymoon: Have you planned your honeymoon?
Gift Management: How will you handle wedding gifts and thank you notes?
Clean up: Who will clean up the venue if you are leaving straight for your honeymoon after the reception?
