Snake River Meadow is an event center and lodging facility located at the South Fork of the Snake River in Ririe, Idaho. It has 30 acres of meadows and trees, a lodge, cabins, a pond and a rustic venue for your wedding, corporate retreat, family reunion or fly fishing base camp. It offers a variety of experiences, including retreats, fly rod building and more.

Yes, our venue offers both indoor and outdoor options for your wedding ceremony and reception. The venue has capacity for about 150 people indoors, but most weddings are done using both indoors and outdoors, spilling out onto the event patio and the grounds.

Our outdoor space can accommodate up to 250 guests. There is elbow room for many more, but parking near the venue is limited to 40 or so vehicles. We have overflow parking on the other side of the property, about a 10 minute walk from the venue area.  

We do not offer in-house catering services but we have a list of preferred vendors that we highly recommend. Check here for more information.  

The venue has a full kitchen with two ovens, two refrigerators, two microwaves, a warmer and a freezer. The venue has three bathrooms. Its barn doors swing open onto the patio with side doors that swing open to the lawn area and the parking areas. The sound system is the original sound system from when the venue was built in the 90s as a cowboy dinner theater venue. They still work, with plenty of volume and can connect to your phone via Bluetooth. 

If you rent the entire property for your event, you are welcome to bring campers or RVs. These can be parked on any gravel areas (not on the grass). You are also welcome to pitch tents on the grass areas.

There are a number of things to do on the property. The Snake River Meadow pond is stocked with trout for catch and release fishing. There is a disc golf course in the pasture area between the cabins and the venue. We have a nifty axe-throwing setup behind the Ranch House. Feel free to pick some apples from the apple orchard in the fall. And the lodge has a new barrel sauna located below the cottonwoods alongside the river for steaming away aches and pains.

Snake River Meadow is located in an amazing recreation area, with Kelly Canyon Ski Resort 10 minutes away, Heise Hot Springs swimming and ziplining just across the river and world class fly fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River. There are hiking and mountain biking trails in the Big Hole Mountains that you see in the photos of the property. Also, we are a 90 minute drive away from some of the nation's most amazing outdoors. Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons, the Henry's Fork River, Swan Valley, Driggs, Jackson and more. Our central location helps make us an optimal destination venue. 

Idaho Falls, Rexburg and Rigby Idaho are each between 20 and 30 minutes away, with access to shopping, restaurants and a university. If you or your guests are flying in, the Idaho Falls airport is incredibly convenient. It's pretty amazing actually that we are located in a stunning outdoor setting but just a few minutes from civilization and a commercial airport.

There are so many options. The recreation area where we are located includes Mountain River Ranch and Aspen Grove Inn within walking distance. Each offers camping, cabins and RV sites. Across the river are 7N and Heise with more cabins for rent.

Because we rent out for special events, we don't have regular or fixed hours. If you would like to stop by and have a tour, please just let us know. We will set up a time to meet you and show you the property!
